This catalogue documents the exhibition of the same name previously on display at the Cape Ann Museum from March 19-November 27, 2022. The catalogue features works by Martha Hale Harvey and Martin Johnson Heade in conjunction with Fitz Henry Lane, along with an essay written by Cape Ann Museum Chief Curator Martha Oaks. The exhibit and catalogue was part of an ongoing community-wide initiative to spotlight the beauty and ecological importance of the Great Marsh which stretches from Cape Ann northward to the Massachusetts/New Hampshire border.
